The California Judicial Counsel, through its task force known as AIDOAC (Appellate Indigent Defense Oversight Advisory Committee), and the 5 appellate projects throughout the state, presented an Appellate Advocacy College in May, 2000. The materials prepared for that conference are posted on the website of the California Courts.
CCAP's Searchable Database http://www.capcentral.org
Central California Appellate Program has a database of materials, including its well-stocked brief bank. Some of this material may be helpful to provide a starting point for your own research. However, it should never be a substitute for your own work; CAP/LA can not vouch for the accuracy or quality of any of the briefing contained at that website.
